                 About Visitation -
                          Spiritual Growth

Visitation Spirituality Center offers hospitality in an environment conducive to pondering, embracing and responding to the challenging and healing presence of God.

Within this mission, we provide spiritual direction, retreats educational programs and prayer in a setting of natural beauty.  We also design programs and retreats that can be offered at other locations for groups and organizations.

Whether in Monroe or Bloomfield Hills, our interactions are modeled on the biblical "visitation" of Mary and Elizabeth, who shared companionship and encouragement on the spiritual journey.  In this spirit we seek to assist persons in deepening their awareness of God`s activity and potential in everyday life.  We also seek to help people touch into the universal desire for God theat has been expressed in every culture throughout human history.

Rooted in the Judeao-Christian tradition and its dialogue with other spiritual traditions and the contemporary world, Visitation is open to ALL spiritual seekers

The spirit and ministry of Monroe`s Visitation Spirituality Center will soon expand to include a NEW center called Visitation North located at the renovated convent at Marian High School in Bloomfield Hills.  Visitation North will officially open with an afternoon prayer and reception on October 15, the feast of St. Teresa of Avila.

Visitation is a ministry of the Sisters Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Monroe, Michigan.
